Lorna founded Zyme Communications in 2010, and has grown the business into a successful agency with offices in Cambridge and Manchester in the UK, providing strategic and specialist advice to life science and medtech organisations globally. Focused on supporting companies to raise their profile, build corporate value, and generate commercial interest, Zyme’s portfolio extends from early stage start-ups to industry giants, across the US, Europe and Asia.
With more than 20 years’ experience in PR and marketing in the life science sector, Lorna was previously Associate Partner at international communications agency Instinctif Partners, where she was responsible for the company’s largest portfolio of clients. She also gained in-house experience in marketing communications roles at science focused companies. Lorna has experience advising companies such as Bio-Rad, GE Healthcare, Promega, Revvity, Abcam, Cancer Research Technology, Illumina, Life Arc and many more.
Lorna has a degree in Natural Sciences, majoring in Biology and Biochemistry and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
