Brad Richardson

Brad has a PhD in Neurobiology and MSci in Neurosciences from The University of Southampton. His PhD interrogated neuronal age-related structural changes, to further our understanding of vulnerability to neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease.
Brad gained experience in employing novel super-resolution microscopy techniques to reveal morphological changes occurring within distinct neuronal compartments with physiological ageing, which were recapitulated through the genetic expression of disease-associated designer tau proteins. During his academic career, Brad became a published author, presented data at international conferences, and received awards for symposium presentations. Additionally, he worked within public engagement to communicate topical science to a diverse array of audiences.
