London, UK, 14 July 2026: Drug Discovery World, part of edify, is pleased to invite R&D leaders, researchers, investors, and suppliers from across the life science and pharma industries to attend their new series of events, Drug Discovery Innovators and Investors.

The series of three connected events has been designed to enable fundraising, collaboration, licensing and partnership discussions, by facilitating networking opportunities and 1:1 meetings. Pharma, biotech and academic innovators will be able to network with investors and key industry facilitators. Industry suppliers will be able to connect with key buyers, specifiers and influencers.

Each of the events will be organised around key industry themes:

  • Digital forum (30th September 2026):
Innovation to Investment: Driving Growth in Early-stage Drug Discovery

    • A high-level online forum with a global reach, featuring expert presentations and moderated discussions. Focused on investment strategy, emerging technologies, and the capabilities early-stage companies need to scale and secure funding.
  • London, UK, in-person event, 4th November 2026:
Speed, Scale, and Capital: Advancing UK Drug Discovery and Development

    • The UK conference focuses on ways in which early-stage drug discovery and development can be scaled using technology and lab automation, helping organisations accelerate innovation effectively and become more attractive for investment and partnership.
    • The London conference will be headlined by keynote speaker Chris Molloy, Chief Executive Officer of the UK BioIndustry Association (BIA). With more than 35 years of experience spanning global drug discovery, venture-backed biotech, and national innovation strategy – including founding the Medicines Discovery Catapult and directing the UK’s Lighthouse Labs network, the largest diagnostic programme in British history – Molloy brings rare depth across science, capital, and policy.
  • Basel, Switzerland, in-person event, March 2027:
Scaling European Drug Discovery Through Innovation, Investment & Collaboration

    • Set in one of Europe’s leading life sciences hubs, this event will explore how drug discovery can scale through the latest advanced technologies. It will also explore access to European investment, strategic partnerships, and cross-border collaboration.

Expected to attract over 600 in-person and virtual delegates across the three events, the series will offer:

  • Expert presentations and panel discussions from leading voices across the sector
  • Breakout sessions in smaller, interactive formats, including presentations, moderated discussions, and fireside chats for deeper engagement
  • High-value, structured networking with investors, founders, equipment and technology suppliers, and industry partners
  • Dedicated showcase opportunities for suppliers to connect directly with buyers and decision-makers
