Rochelle Pujanes

Account Executive

Before joining Zyme, Rochelle held various clinical and lab-based positions across the Life Sciences industry. As a Research Assistant at the Cambridge Centre of CRUK, she played a crucial role in supporting the execution of multiple clinical trials under the Urological Malignancies Program. Additionally, Rochelle dedicated time to training as a Clinical Microbiologist within the NHS, where she honed her expertise in analysing microbial specimens, conducting diagnostic tests, and contributing to the development of innovative strategies for infection control and prevention.

Rochelle earned her BSc (Hons) in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from the University of Bristol where her research project focused on utilising Molecular Dynamics simulations to identify mechanisms of antibiotic resistance against ceftazidime-avibactam, a frontline antibiotic combating multi-drug resistant infections. During her time at university, Rochelle was the Digital Media Officer and Co-Founder of the Filipino Society, and also spearheaded the Content Team of Students for Global Health, organising a global conference on Health Tech and Equity.
